First season

Gillian began her dance journey at Center Stage Dance Studio. She recently graduated from Howard University Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Stategic, Law, and Management Communications. During her summers, she furthered her training with many prestigious organizations including Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Anthony Burrell’s Breaking Barriers, Contemporary West Dance Theatre, Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and the Radio City Rockettes. At Howard, Gillian had the opportunity to perform in works by Tommie Waheed-Evans, Brian Flynn, Edward Franklin, Darrell Grand Moultrie and many more. Gillian joined DBDT: Encore! in 2021.
