We are pleased to offer you a few tips in this FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) to help you enjoy your performance(s). If you have any questions throughout the season, or if we can help in any way, please feel free to contact us by phone at (214) 871-2376.

HOW MUCH IS A CHILD'S TICKET?

Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s tickets are all one price. There is not a separate price for a child’s ticket.

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

Discounts on single ticket pricing is offered in the form of Season Subscriptions and Group Sales for 10+.

ARE THERE ACCOMODATIONS FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES?

DBDT is committed to making our performances accessible to anyone who wishes to attend them. Wheelchair seating is available at every price point. Hearing devices are also available at the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre and are free of charge but an ID is required until the device is returned. To reserve accessibility seating or for additional assistance contact the box office at (214) 880-0202.

DO YOU HAVE STUDENT RUSH?

Student Rush is offered on a show-to-show basis and is determined the week of the performance. Please check with Dallas Black Dance Theatre or the AT&T Performing Arts Center, our official ticket services provider, on whether Student Rush will be available for an individual performance series.

Student Rush Policy: Students must show a valid student ID at the Box Office, which opens 90 minutes prior to curtain, in order to purchase up to 2 tickets at $20 each. Seating options are best available.

WHAT IS THE ADDRESS FOR THE THEATRE?

Dallas Black Dance Theatre performs at multiple venues around the DFW Metroplex including the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre (2400 Flora St, Dallas, TX 75201), the Moody Performance Hall (2520 Flora St, Dallas, TX 75201), the Dallas Black Dance Theatre Studios (2700 Ann Williams Way, Dallas, TX 75201), the W.E. Scott Theatre (3505 W Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76107), and the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts (2351 Performance Dr, Richardson, TX 75082). Please refer to your tickets for location of each individual performance series.

HOW EARLY CAN I ARRIVE TO THE THEATRE?

The lobby doors and Box Office open 90 minutes prior to curtain. The bar and concessions at participating venues are also made available to patrons at this time.

WHERE DO I PARK?

For performances series taking place in the Downtown Dallas Arts District, there is plenty of parking in both garages and surface lots in the area. The AT&T Performing Arts Center offers underground, on-site, self and valet parking in the Lexus Silver Parking Garage. Patrons may also choose to take advantage of alternate parking options at One Arts Plaza and Hall Arts.

PLEASE NOTE: Other events may be taking place in the Dallas Arts District, so please plan accordingly and allow time for any possible traffic and parking delays that may arise.

ARE THERE RESTAURANTS NEARBY?

There are a variety of restaurants throughout the Dallas Arts District, including The Playwright Irish Pub, Tei-An, and Yolk at One Arts Plaza and The Artisan, Musume, and Stephan Pyles Flora Street Café at Hall Arts.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

All children, regardless of age, are required to have a purchased ticket. We ask that everyone be able to sit quietly through the performance without causing disruptions to the other patrons.

I’VE MISPLACED MY TICKETS. WILL YOU REPRINT THEM?

If you have misplaced your tickets, we will gladly reprint them free of charge. Call the AT&T Performing Arts Center at (214) 880-0202 in advance or stop by the Box Office at the performance. Please plan to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to your scheduled performance, as the Will Call line can become quite long right before curtain.

WHAT IF I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO MAKE THE PERFORMANCE?

All Dallas Black Dance Theatre ticket sales are final purchases. There are no returns are refunds. If you are no longer able to make your scheduled performance, you may (1) exchange your tickets for another performance of the same series for an exchange fee, or (2) call the AT&T Performing Arts Center at (214) 880-0202 to donate your tickets to be resold, which is a tax-deductible donation.

NOTE: Exchange fees are waived for Season Subscribers.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE AFTER THE PERFORMANCE BEGINS?

Late Seating Policy: Patrons arriving late will be held in the lobby and be seated in-between the works. This policy is strictly enforced for the safety of both Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s patrons and dancers, as well as to minimize any distractions from the performance.

CELL PHONE POLICY:

Cell Phone Policy: Dallas Black Dance Theatre asks that all cell phones be turned to silent and put away during the performance, as the lights and sounds can be distracting to other patrons. Also, no photography or videography of any kind is permitted during the performance.
