Aleigha Mayo, A Chicago Native who began her dance journey at the age of 13 at Mayfair Academy of Fine Arts. She is a 2019 graduate from Howard University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in dance, studying Graham technique and Ballet. After college Aleigha went on to continue her dance training in Alonzo King Lines Ballet Training Program. It was there where she deepened her understanding and love of contemporary movement, improv, as well as ballet. Throughout her two years she has had the privilege of performing works by Carmen Rozenstraten, Roderick George, Maurya Kerr, and Sidra Bell.
